Nepali or Nepalese (नेपाली) is a language in the Indo-Aryan branch of the Indo-European language family which is widely spoken in Nepal and also spoken in some parts of India (Sikkim, Darjeeling, Assam), Bhutan, Myanmar as well. Nepali is traditionally spoken in the Hill Region of Nepal and Nepal Bhasa was the dominant language in the Kathmandu valley but Nepali is the most dominant nowadays.
